Who We Are
The St. Elizabeth Center began at St. Joseph Parish as a food pantry and clothes closet in the 1990s. In 2005, these were moved to the former Assumption School and named the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Center. The center was named to honor St. Elizabeth who devoted her life and her financial resources to the improvement of the lives of the sick and the poor.
What We Do
We are a food pantry, with monthly food distribution to registered families, and emergency assistance available to those in need. We operate a thrift store that is open to the public which features clothing, shoes, coats and accessories for men, women, teens, and children. We also have housewares. All items are extremely affordable and the money is used to support the food pantry.
